Pinta Lima is the only contemporary art fair in Peru, presenting its 12th edition with a strong program that celebrates the diversity of Latin America's artistic and cultural scene. Located at Casa Prado in Miraflores, the fair is an unmissable event where a network of artists, galleries, curators, and collectors from the region connect with the international art world.
In 2025, after 12 years of history, Pinta PArC - Perú Arte Contemporáneo - transforms into Pinta Lima, solidifying itself as the largest contemporary art fair in Peru. With this change, Pinta establishes Lima as a key epicenter of Latin American contemporary art.

Each year, Pinta Lima strengthens its program with distinguished curators to position modern and contemporary Latin American art on the global stage.

The FORO of Pinta Lima 2025, is a reflective space focused on new perspectives of the Latin American artistic ecosystem.
It will also feature Collection Talks, a series on collecting coordinated by Pablo León de la Barra.

In ‘Charlas de Colección’, two talks will take place: one will focus on an institutional collection, and the other on a private collection, diving into the specifics of each. Additionally, the book “Inversión o Pasión. Una guía para navegar por el mercado del arte” (Investment or Passion: A Guide to Navigating the Art Market) by María Sancho-Arroyo will be presented, offering key tools to understand the current landscape of collecting.

In each edition, the Main Section of the fair is made up of a carefully curated selection of galleries from different cities around the world, chosen for the quality and innovation of their proposals. In 2024 alone, over 200 artists from the region participated, showcasing the diversity and excellence of Latin America's artistic production.

The RADAR Section presents a journey of intergenerational Latin American artists, exploring themes of identity, gender, nature, and the digital age.

The NEXT section of Pinta Lima 2025 explores the integration of unconventional crafts into contemporary art, influenced by knowledge from indigenous groups. It also presents meditative practices that question the relationship between thinking and doing, proposing a polyphony of artistic approaches that go beyond representation to conceive and build the world.

This section honors the outstanding Peruvian artist Teresa Burga (1935-2021), a pioneer of conceptual and multimedia art. Known for her experimental approach, Burga challenged the norms of contemporary art from the 1960s, exploring pop aesthetics, mass culture, and the intersection of gender. Throughout her career, she combined painting, sculpture, installation, and cybernetic media, deeply influencing art in Peru and worldwide. This Special Project seeks to revive her legacy and highlight her contribution to the global art scene, especially after her return to the scene in the 2000s.

Special Project encourages the realization of site-specific projects that can co-exist with the architecture of Casa Prado's hall, which, due to its stylistic and spatial characteristics, allows artists to delve into different artistic languages and formats.

Video Project is the cross-sectional section at all Pinta fairs that focuses exclusively on innovative and immersive proposals that work with moving images. In this edition, galleries were invited to present projects revolving around the following themes: ancestral practices, community work, the Amazon, and nature. During the fair, the selected projects were exhibited.

The Sculpture Garden is conceived as a space that explores the relationships between sculpture, architecture, and green areas. As an outdoor section, it enables an imaginative and playful dialogue between the artistic proposals and the physical characteristics of the location.

Every day at Pinta Lima, special tours are offered, inviting visitors to explore the fair and its diverse worlds through the perspective of its curators and artists.

The Awards and Acquisitions Program aims to support artistic practice and foster collecting, while emphasizing the importance of Pinta Lima as a key meeting point for the international art community, where art is not only exhibited but also recognized, celebrated, and promoted for the future.
In its latest edition, the fair featured the NEXT Award, the RADAR Award, the EFG nomination, among others.
